Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) has become one of the most influential approaches in modern language education. It emphasizes the development of learners’ communicative competence through meaningful interaction and real-life communication. This article explores the principles, characteristics, advantages, and challenges of CLT in modern classrooms. It also examines the role of teachers and learners within this approach and suggests effective strategies for implementation. The study concludes that CLT significantly enhances learners’ fluency, motivation, and overall language proficiency when applied appropriately.
