Abstract

This article examines the impact of globalization on the English language. It explains how global communication, technology, and cultural exchange have influenced the development and spread of English around the world. The study shows that globalization has made English an international language, and therefore it is widely used in education, business, and media. Moreover, the article highlights that globalization has changed the vocabulary, pronunciation, and usage of English, because new words and expressions appear through interaction between different cultures. In addition, the role of English as a global language creates both opportunities and challenges for learners and societies.
