THE DEVELOPMENT OF WRITING SKILLS

Abstract

Developing writing skills is a fundamental component of language learning, as it enhances learners’ ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively. This paper discusses classroom techniques and activities that help students improve their writing proficiency. Strategies such as pre-writing preparation, guided writing, pair and group writing activities, feedback techniques, and post-writing reflections are examined. The study highlights the importance of encouraging creativity, supporting vocabulary growth, and creating a positive writing environment. Findings show that diverse writing activities not only strengthen students’ written communication but also increase their motivation and confidence.
