The stability and independence of a state are primarily determined by the loyalty, national pride, and civic responsibility of its citizens. Military-patriotic education plays a crucial role in shaping these qualities, preparing the younger generation to defend the Motherland, respect national values, and fulfill civic duties. This article examines the theoretical and practical foundations of military-patriotic education, its essential characteristics, and the social factors influencing its formation. Military patriotism is defined as a set of social and moral qualities, including devotion to the country, readiness to protect its independence and territorial integrity, and awareness of civic duty. The study highlights the importance of family, the education system, cultural and educational activities, and mass media in fostering military-patriotic consciousness among youth. It also emphasizes the continuity of military-patriotic education from preschool to higher education and the need for cooperation among social institutions. In contemporary society, cultivating military patriotism is essential for developing civic responsibility, national pride, and readiness to ensure state security. The findings underscore the importance of a comprehensive and continuous approach to nurturing patriotic values in the younger generation.
