Abstract

This study examines the semantic differentiation of the Uzbek lexical units yurak, qalb and dil, which are central to the verbalization of human inner life. Although they can be used as near synonyms in some contexts, they differ by semantic core, stylistic coloring and cultural function. The analysis compares their bodily, spiritual, emotional and evaluative meanings and identifies shared and distinctive semes. The results show that yurak combines the meanings of a bodily organ, emotional center and courage; qalb denotes spiritual and moral depth, purity and conscience; and dil conveys lyrical intimacy, sincerity and personal feeling. These distinctions are important for translation, text interpretation and literary analysis.
