Abstract

This article analyzes the fundamental rules of adornment in Islamic Sharia based on verses from the Quran, hadiths, and the views of Islamic jurists. The study comparatively examines the Sharia ruling of men and women dressing similarly to each other, the issue of imitating non-Muslims, dressing for fame and situations related to arrogance from the point of view of sects. Additionally, the opinions of scholars from the Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, and Hanbali sects are analyzed, and the moral and legal norms of adornment in Islam are highlighted. The article serves to scientifically substantiate the culture of adornment in Islamic ethics and jurisprudence.
