Abstract

Thearticleconsiderspsycholinguisticsas an interdisciplinaryfield of scientificknowledge that studies the relationship between language,thinking, andhumanmentalprocesses.Themaindirections of psycholinguisticresearch, the mechanisms of speechactivity, the processes of speechgenerationandperception,aswell as the problems of languageacquisition are analyzed.Specialattention is paid to the practicalsignificance of psycholinguisticsineducation,medicineandmoderntechnologies.
